Many of Team Paradise's most accomplished players are Canadian, and are excited to play in a WPT event at home for the first time.

In addition to Jody Trainer, Canadian Paradise Poker champ David Matthew, who recently won $1.9 million at the WPT Championship at the Bellagio Casino is Las Vegas, has already qualified as have northern Canadian card kings Sean Daulat and Benny Chen. All four play the poker circuit successfully and all four participated in this year's World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.

Players can qualify online via Paradise Poker's $200 or $500 buy-in WPT Choice No Limit Holdem tournaments which are being played four times weekly until October 7th. Each qualifier will receive at least one $12,000 WPT prize package. The prize package covers the $10,000 entry fee as well as travel costs.

The Niagara Falls stop on the WPT marks the third international location on the WPT tournament calendar this year and the WPT's first Canadian event.
